The company decided to set up a direct sales and support operation for those territories, based from a new, London office, run by a Managing Director sourced from one of the existing distributors.
He in turn approached us with a range of recruitment requirements from technical support to sales, office management to finance. Due to extensive international travel commitments, the Managing Director wanted to limit his personal involvement to meeting with one preferred candidate only for each position, trusting us to understand his requirements fully.
This became a very long standing arrangement. We worked closely with the company to learn as much as possible about the sector, the business environment, competition, customers etc so that we understood the types of candidates appropriate to their needs and the likely sources of the best people.
